Serene Mahjong becomes Yila Mahjong

The game was renamed Yila Mahjong, with a new block-letter logo and an orange Level button. Tray mode appeared in its first form.

On 16 July 2026 Serene Mahjong was renamed Yila Mahjong. The new logo shows “Yila” in warm amber italic above “MAHJONG” in cream block letters, with a small isometric tile beside the name.

The main Play button changed too. It became a glossy orange pill that reads “Level” followed by the number of the level you are on.

The same day saw the first version of tray mode. Instead of tapping two tiles, you tap a free tile and it goes into a tray at the top of the screen, where matches are collected.

That first version did not stay as it was. Tray mode was reworked the very next day, and the tray mode note dated 17 July tells that story.
